Pamela Anderson strips off for Nokia

Celebrity uber-babe Pamela Anderson has brought sexy selling to the mobile phone market.

Clearly enjoying her role as a scantily clad sex kitten, Anderson has stripped down to her saucy yet classy lingerie in a photo shoot which celebrates the launch of a new competition by mobile giant Nokia.

Resplendent in a range of dazzling underwear, the buxom actress who gained worldwide acclaim for her roles on Baywatch and in bed with former husband, rocker Tommy Lee, can be seen in varying stages of recline in a sumptuous hotel suite. Excitable readers will be overjoyed that one lucky winner will soon be joining her for a short film in the bedroom – all in good taste – called The Commuter.

Her competition-winning co-star will have Nokia to thank as the mobile phone company celebrates the soon-to-be-launched new N8 handset, which will capture all the action of Anderson, 43, and her companion. As if this wasn’t enough, the film will also have its own London premier alongside another similar feature that will star an additional lucky entrant in their own scene with Ed Westwick of Gossip Girl fame – although this one will be shot in an elevator.

Nokia said that they has tried to create something special with the new competition, one which it hopes will highlight the quality of the camera in the new N8 handset. Anderson is currently touring the UK as part of the promotion for her new role as the Genie at the Liverpool Empire Theatre’s production of Aladdin.

Fergie goes blonde for Avon

Stacey, ‘Fergie’, Ferguson, has once again gone blonde.

The Black Eyed Peas singer, a long-time brunette, has decided that the old maxim ‘blondes have more fun’ still rings true.

The new look for the iconic songstress coincides with a her partnership with leading cosmetics company Avon, for which Fergie is a spokeswoman. The sultry diva joins the likes of Nicole Richie, Katherin Heigl and Sarah Jessica Parker in sporting the look that gentlemen apparently prefer, showcasing the lighter locks in her role as an ambassador for Avon’s Advanced Techniques haircare brand. Fergie also has a new perfume, after earlier this month she launched the new fragrance with Avon called ‘Outspoken’.

The BEP lead singer will show off her new do in an upcoming music video for legendary rocker Slash, where she is featured on the single ‘Beautiful Dangerous’, which both the music heavyweights recently celebrated live onstage with Fergie joining the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist turned soloist in concert.

In another development with fashion staple Avon, Fergie has also been unveiled as one of the judges on the forthcoming Avon Voices global singing competition, which will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the cosmetics giant. She will be joined by Dianne Warren in finding the next female superstar, with details of the competition available on the Avon website. Whoever is nominated will have some major shoes to step into, with the gorgeous Fergie idolised by millions for her performances in BEP videos such as ‘My Humps’.

Become a Hotel Inspector with ebookers

A new study by ebookers.com, the European online travel specialist, has found British hotels need to clean up their act.

The report found that everything from beds to air conditioning, cleanliness to staff approachability all made up the overall hotel experience, which was topped by US hotels, with Spain, France and Greece coming in at the bottom.

A great new competition will give one lucky entrant the opportunity to work in the fashion industry.

The competition will also afford an insight into the machinations of television, thanks to MTV. The opportunity is presented by Grazia Magazine who has teamed up with Armani Exchange to celebrate the launch of the new MTV series of The City, which will air on Saturday nights at 9pm.
