Tiger is my Daddy claim two more illegitimate cubs

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

Just when the scandal surrounding Tiger Woods’s extra-marital affairs seemed to have died down, two tiny skeletons have emerged from the closet.

The world’s best golfer in modern history, still mired in claims that he cheated on wife Elin Nordegren with as many as 14 different women, is now facing new allegations that he has fathered at least two illegitimate children. If that wasn’t enough, still another apparently secret lover has come forward with claims of undeniable evidence that Woods was the father of her new baby.

Grazia Magazine reports that the news is shattering for Tiger, as just when he thinks the furore over his sex life has been quelled, yet another alleged victim emerges from the woodwork. The unidentified source says Tiger’s once untouchable reputation continues to take a battering, and that Elin is faces humiliation and devastation. She added that while the former world Number 1 can sign up for all the sex-addiction treatment he likes, nothing will take away the fact that there may be several tiny tiger cubs crawling around.

Grazia reports that one of the latest claimants in Theresa Rogers, 48, who has apparently told her friends that her six-year-old child’s father is Woods, with the magazine reporting that Rogers had employed the services of the celebrity lawyer Gloria Allred to oversee a hush money deal with the wayward golfer thought to be worth up to two million pounds. Former prostitute Devon James has also stated that her son, Austin T, was fathered by Tiger back in 2001, the same year he met the stunning Swede wife Elin.

Sex and The City bids a final farewell

Thursday, July 1st, 2010

The glamour girls of Sex and The City are packing their wardrobes up for the final time.

Carrie and Co will down their last cosmos and put away their high heels for good after the SATC phenomenon has finally been grounded after a series of poor reviews for the SATC 2 movie.

The SATC empire, which has run for the past 12 years and spawned 94 episodes and two blockbuster movies, is set to be consigned to history after recent reports of infighting on set and low box office takings have shelved any plans of continuing one of the most successful franchises in history. This means the uber-glamorous quartet of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis are looking at life on the unemployment line – although all are sure to snapped up soon.

In the latest edition of fashion magazine Grazia, a report has revealed how the latest movie’s box office flop has seen plans for a third instalment – widely tipped to complete a STAC trilogy – immediately binned. This allegedly came as something of a shock to the cast who had been anticipating one last hurrah on the big screen

Only months ago, leading lady Sarah Jessica Parker said that she wished for Carrie and her friends to carry on, with the team already in preparation for another movie. However, SJP did acknowledge that there had been some infighting between cast members but nowhere near as catty as paparazzi had made out. Much media speculation has surrounded the strained relationship between Parker and Cattrall, but this was put down by Parker to the usual strains of performing with close friends for so long.

What makes the perfect cover girl?

Friday, June 18th, 2010

In the cutthroat world of glossy fashion magazines, what goes on the cover is crucial to success.

Editors at the likes of Grazia and Vogue Magazines spend hours antagonising over who should adorn their covers, knowing full well the circulation will rise if they get the image right, or fall accordingly if the pick a dud.

It could be that the recently crowned ‘World’s Sexiest Woman’ Cheryl Crowe, with her inoffensive dress sense and hair and a strong but cheerful demeanour is worthy enough of shelling out a couple of pounds for. Perhaps the high-fashion Victoria Beckham with labels and bags and her Hollywood connections is more likely to run off the shelves.

British Vogue’s Alexandra Shulman says Kate Moss has always worked for them, her grungy chic look and sultry pout offset by human interest in the always interesting model.

To better determine what the market is looking for, or trying to avoid, fashion magazines hold regular meetings with focus groups and consult a variety of facts and data on sales, circulation and surveys. To add to the confusion however, magazines do not always try to appeal to their customers. Most dedicated readers will by their favourite magazine regardless of the cover, leaving the magazines to try and tempt floating readers. Here, the cover becomes the all important bait.

Shulman says some colours just don’t work, such as mustard yellow or pretty much any shade of green. Black is also to be avoided in favour of pretty, simple patterns and colours, with metallic pink a popular choice.

Baby food diet for Jennifer Anniston

Friday, May 7th, 2010

Jennifer Aniston has apparently been dieting on baby food as she endeavours to trim down for her upcoming movie. The celebrated actress has taken to the unusual weight-loss method ahead of her travels to Hawaii, where she is due to appear on set of ‘Just Go With It’.

Anniston enlisted the trainer-to-the-stars Tracy Anderson to help her shed the pounds, with Anderson recommending The Baby Food Cleanse eating plan. The child-friendly snack system features 14 separate portions of food which is pureed much like baby meals, and then followed up with a hearty adult-sized dinner.

The results have apparently been excellent, with Anniston reporting she has lost 7lbs since going on the diet. Anniston has also admitted to a fondness for wine, coffee and dairy products.

The leading fashion and celebrity magazine Grazia recently featured a story which followed Anniston when she was in Europe last month. A source told Grazia that Anniston had been relaxing her normally strict eating regime and that with her forthcoming movie appearance weighing heavily on her mind, she was aware that steps would need to be taken to squeeze into the numerous tiny dresses required by the director.

Anderson said that Anniston has been progressing well under the baby plan, which is ideal for a total toning package where the emphasis is on clean eating. The diet includes soups, smoothies and pureed oatmeal. Anderson’s other clients include Courteney Cox and Gwyneth Paltrow.
