The Oscars was a great night to see beautiful people dressed in beautiful fashion, which makes it hard to decide who the best dressed was. Everyone has their opinion, as some of the most popular celebrities walked the red carpet in gowns created by some of the most popular designers.

To start, Best Actress winner Sandra Bullock didn’t fail to stun everyone – with both her win and attire. She wore a metallic and slender-fitting gown by Marchesa that made her glow. Not only did she receive and give great speeches, she looked absolutely phenomenal doing it.

One young celeb that we can’t overlook is Twilight’s Kristen Stewart. She has a style of her own – that’s for sure – and doesn’t always hit the target with her look, but she looked good enough to eat on Sunday at the Oscars. Her decision to wear a black strapless dress by Monique Lhuillier with a classic up-do was perfect, and she didn’t need any help looking like a star from co-star Taylor Lautner.

Some other celebrities that didn’t fail to look great for the event were Penelope Cruz in red, Rachel McAdams in a multi-hued evening gown and Demi Moore in a blush-colored dress. However, there were some celebs to take risks this year, which included Sarah Jessica Parker in a pale yellow Chanel, silk charmeuse gown with exposed shoulders, which was inspired by the 1960s. There were also some fails, such as the light purple gown with ruching detail on the bodice worn by Charlize Theron.
